Trek Overview

Day 0

Upon your arrival in Lombok (either at the airport or the port), our team will pick you up and transfer you to your accommodation and office in Senaru. Once there, you will complete your registration and receive a brief orientation about the trek. If you arrive early, you will have the chance to visit two beautiful waterfalls: Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep, provided you arrive at least one hour before sunset.

Day 1: 11 to 12 Hours

Your first day of trekking begins with breakfast at 6:30 AM, followed by a departure from your hotel at 7:00 AM. The one-hour drive will take you to the Rinjani Information Center in Sembalun (1,156 meters). The trek starts with an ascent to Pos 1 (1,300 meters), then Pos 2 (1,500 meters), Pos 3 (1,800 meters), and finally, the Sembalun Crater Rim at 2,639 meters, where you will set up camp and spend the night.

Day 2: 8 to 9 Hours

After an early wake-up call at 2:00 AM, you will have a light breakfast and begin your hike to Mount Rinjani’s summit (3,726 meters) to catch the sunrise. After enjoying the view, you will return to the Sembalun Crater Rim (2,639 meters), and then descend via Pos 3 (1,800 meters), Pos 2 (1,500 meters), and Pos 1 (1,300 meters). You will finish the trek at the Rinjani Information Center in Sembalun, where your driver will take you to your next destination.
